Kathleen attended the University of California San Diego, then
went into the bookkeeping / accounting field. She opened her own bookkeeping business in 1993. Soon thereafter she was
thrilled to join Innovative Marketing Strategies, Inc. as Director of Financial Planning, and is also CFO of American Financial
Strategies, Inc. When she is not facilitating our very popular College Funding Workshops you can find her helping families
discover creative methods to maximizing college financial aid without losing sight of their long-term financial goals.

Tim graduated
from San Diego State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He immediately went to work for an attorney in Dallas,Texas, where he learned valuable information in the financial services industry. In the years that followed, Tim moved back
to San Diego to continue his work in the financial services industry. In 1994 he accepted a position with Innovative Marketing
Strategies, Inc. as an account executive. Today, Tim is Senior Vice President of Marketing for IMS, as well as CEO of American Financial
Strategies, Inc., and the co-founder and CEO of National College Funding Strategies. Tim still works closely with many agents
and clients across the United States.

Mindy Chenault graduated from the University ofCalifornia, Irvine in 1982 with a Bachelors Degree in English. She then attended Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, and
received her Teaching Credentials in 1983. Her post-graduate courses also included a year of studies in Counseling. After teaching
in the Grossmont and San Diego Union High School districts for many years, and simultaneously working as a freelance author and editor,
she served for 8 years as a Campus Coordinator (Grades K–12), and High School Writing Instructor with Heritage Christian School. Her
position as Campus Coordinator included responsibilities in Administration, such as Staff Management and Educational Counseling. Mindy
continues to teach writing and offer occasional Writing Workshops preparing students to write College-level Essays and Research Papers.
Working with National College Funding Strategies provides her with the perfect opportunity to draw from her years of experience to
help families find creative strategies to invest in the future educations of their children.
Ross Chenault completed his A.A.
in Photography in 1988 from San Diego City College, and his B. A. in Organizational Studies in 1996 from Bethel College in San
Diego. His post-graduate courses also included a year of studies in Counseling. He then attended Biola University, earning his Masters
Degree in Christian Apologetics in 2001. His key interest has always involved providing students a solid education in truth. In addition
to being a published author of two books and teaching seminars on Apologetics, Ross owned and operated a successful auto leather restoration
business for over 20 years before becoming involved with the financial services industry. Ross’ partnership with the team
of National College Funding Strategies gives him the unique opportunity to teach parents how to carefully plan ahead so they are able
to provide their children with a quality education from a reputable college or university and give them a solid foundation for life.

Maryjo Root, College
Planning Specialist, offers college funding strategies and college savings workshops teaching families the importance of planning
and saving for their
children’s future.
Maryjo began her financial career in the Human Resources Department with Bank of America
as Personnel Manager in the Data Processing Center. She eventually became a 7/11 Owner/Franchisee for 9 years where she was
able to utilize her management skills. Education has always been a priority with Maryjo and became a passion for her when Bill
(her husband of over 40 years) and her made the decision to home school their two daughters. Maryjo’s passion has always been
in working with children and their families, mentoring, teaching and encouraging them to be successful in all areas of their lives. Her family started Indian Hills Camp in 1960 so she has had years of experience working with children and their parents in all areas
of the camp including managing the camps finances.
Maryjo joined the NCFS team in 2009 and is excited and passionate about helping
families save for college and provide opportunities for their children’s education, which she feels is one of a family’s priorities
for their children.

Stephen and Danielle joined the team in 2007. They are passionate about helping
families and specialize in savings strategies for college, asset protection, as well as retirement. Before joining National College
Funding Strategies, they trained others to provide the same services and in turn helped hundreds of families.
Stephen and Danielle
have been married for almost five years. They are a dynamic team. They live in Snoqualmie, Washington with their dogs Layla and Gizmo,
and cat, Mama. They are looking forward to starting a family soon and have started a savings plan for their future children because
they understand the rising costs of college and the importance of starting early.

Brian P.
Smith holds the CCPS (Certified College Planning Specialist) designation from The National Institute of Certified College Planners,
the nation’s sole authority conferring this credential to financial professionals (http://www.niccp.com). Mr. Smith, a diversified
financial consultant, is a Registered Representative (NASD Srs. 7), a Registered Investment Adviser (Srs. 65), and also a California
Life agent. He began his professional financial services career in 1995 at Merrill Lynch in San Diego working with private clients
there until 2001.
From mid 2001 to the present Brian Smith has worked as an independent financial adviser and consultant providing
investment and retirement planning strategies to businesses, families and estates. He is the President of Olmsted Advisors, Inc.,
a Registered Investment Advisor providing financial planning and investment advisory services through the Fidelity Advisor Channel.
An educator at heart and a former teacher, Mr. Smith’s practice has a major emphasis on building college funding strategies into any
family’s or individual’s financial plan.
From 1991 to 1994 Mr. Smith was a schoolteacher in San Marcos, CA and maintains a credential
in secondary education from National University (1992). In 1986 Brian Smith was commissioned as an officer in the United States Marine
Corps and served on active duty through the Persian Gulf War. He left active duty with the rank of Captain in late 1991 and continued
in the Marine Corps Reserve through 1995. Mr. Smith graduated from Carthage College in Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
History and Political Science in 1986. While an undergraduate Brian completed one year of work-study in Washington, D.C. as an aide
to a senior member of Congress, Hon. Edward J. Derwinski (R-IL).
Mr. Smith resides in north San Diego county with his wife of
18 years, Wanda Levine Smith and their two (college bound) children: son Ian and daughter Molly. The Smiths are active volunteers
in their children’s schools and devote themselves to a network of close friends in fellowship, community outreach, and activities.

Le Roy Rosen, College Planning Specialist and speaker, presents college saving seminars
and individual counseling for families requiring knowledge of how to amass adequate funds to permit their children to attend the colleges
of their choice and thus to ensure that these children get the proper headstart on building successful lives.
Le Roy lives in
the community of Tarzana, California in the San Fernando Valley. Le Roy won 2 competitive scholarships before graduating with
a BS degree from Columbia University in New York City. He worked in the aerospace business at ever growing levels of responsibility.
Later he moved to Washington, DC, where he was appointed Program Manager of a massive new Navy project to build the most advanced
nuclear attack submarine. During this time he attended George Washington University where he got his MEA degree. Le Roy then moved
to Los Angeles where he took classes at UCLA towards a PhD.
Mr. Rosen entered the financial services field in 1972, where he
founded his own agency called American West Insurance Services. He later started a second insurance agency called Le Roy R. Rosen
Insurance Services. He now has 36 years experience in the financial services field.
Mr. Rosen helps families use innovative financial
services in college planning to maximize financial aid, save money, pay for education, and accumulate family wealth, all while paying
greatly reduced taxes while minimizing the effect on family budgets.
